adjustments are done Mysore style. We use no props, we use a
hands-on method to help take you farther. This method uses the
right amount of pressure to help keep your form and posture correct
and to get a little more stretch from each pose.

Janu Sirsasana: this pose stimulates the blood
circulation to the spine and relieves back aches. This is a very invigorating
pose.

Urdhva Dhanurasana:
This asana is the beginning of the advanced and difficult back-bending pose. It tones the spine by stretching it fully and keeps the body alert and supple. The back feels strong and full of life. The pose tones up the entire spinal region as the blood is made to circulate well round the spinal column. Since the pelvic region is stretched, the genital organs keep healthy. The diaphragm is lifted up and this massages the heart gently and helps to strengthen it. Under a teacher's guidance one can really experience the stretch. |
